In Exodus, the children of Israel had been freed from slavery and were traveling to a place God had promised them. To get there, they had to go through the wilderness and desert. Although God was providing for them along the way, there were times when they grew thirsty. They had been traveling a long way and were very tired.

Vision
Elim is a Christian Oasis within the community that transforms the community.

An oasis is always located in a desert. Elim Church is a bright spot in a hurting world. We strive to provide a ministry that shines the light of Christ so bright that the entire community is changed.

John 8:12: “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’ ”

Mission
Making disciples to make a difference

There are development opportunities available every day. We come to learn and then go into the world to create more disciples.

Matthew 28:19: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
